ChloƩ Doutreleau

The meal, a link between contents and table ware. Project presented this week during the berlin Design Week by Chloe Doutreleau.

Inspired by Au(then)tism

Ann Maria van Gersem, a young Belgium Designer, recently graduated at the Fun Lab Master dep. at the Design Academy Eindhoven, investigated autism and autistic people. The research inspired her to design with a "touch of autism. The results are special series of products made by the autistic people who Ann met at a chocolate factory, during her research time. Her Au(then)tism collection includes a pink chocolate teapot hat, pistachio green chocolate teacups with fur and pink foil and a dark chocolate whiskey snifter crystal ashtray bling. Each of these objets offers a visual language created in collaboration outside the culture of the neurologically typical.

Artecnica

I would like to tell you about Artecnica.
Tahmineh Javanbakht and Enrico Bressan are the founders of this special company. Artecnica's mission is to elevate the purpose and value of everyday objects by using design to enchant, inspire and transform through the powerful tools of art and technology. Art represents the most personal expression of our design language, technology our unique application of materials, fabrication methods and techniques. The awareness of our global impact inspired a formalized program for Artecnica we call Design with Conscience. Artisan communities of developing countries handcraft objects designed by internationally recognized designers, often utilizing recycled products, both minimizing environmental impact and stimulating depressed economies. I love the tranSglass series, one of the Artecnica Design With Conscience project, they are made with recycled material and they have a very fluid design.

Art by Angie

Browsing on Etsy I found the very special watercolours of Angie, canadian student.
You can see her complete collection here, and follow her Blog here

I know it is hot outside but....

{Radiator Zero - designer F.Lucchese}
{radiator Scudi - M. Iosa Ghini}
I could not show you these two radiators recently presented in Milan.
They are produced by the italian company Antrax, which is specialized in radiators and fire places. I find these two designs very modern and decorative, so the bathroom will become a very special relax place.
