Thorsten Brinkmann

Finally I can tell you about the young German artist Thorsten Brinkman. Using stuff found in second hands market or just in scrape yards, the artist kind of adorn himself, and prepare for a portrait pose. There is an incredible dose of irony in these portraits series, but perhaps due to the way he poses these images become suddenly strong and they could very well hang in one of our interiors. See also some of his furniture.

Kuntzel and Deygas

Thanks to a friend I recently discovered the animation studio Kuntzel and Deygas.
Olivier KUNTZEL (design and communication) and Florence DEYGAS, with background in classical animation movie and fashion illustration are the brains behind the ADD A DOG production company, based in Paris.
Between the many projects, they are the one who designed the Carla Bruni website and video and Colette website.
At the moment they are designing the identity for the GAP+Colette project which will be launched in NY in October. Definetly something to not forget.
They did work also for production movie titles, giving to something boring as a series of names a completely new place.
